How to: Long Lashes

Hello everyone! For today, I want to show you how to get thicker and longer lashes! Please be aware that when I say thicker and longer I don't mean super dramatic lashes like you see in commercials! Enjoy and I hope this helps :)

1. Below is a picture of my natural lashes, no makeup and no mascara

2. Apply Concealer under the eye and set with a powder
3. Apply an eye/eye shadow primer of your choice
4.Apply a shimmery eye shadow close to the color of your skin on your entire lid
5. Highlight the inner corner of your eye to make your eyes appear larger and more awake
6.Apply black eyeliner to your waterline and upper lid as close as you can to your lashline to make the lashes appear thicker

7. Curl your lashes:
-Try heating your curler with a blow dryer for 10 seconds on low heat to keep your curl longer
-Curl your lashes in 3 sections
-1: Start as close to the lash line and curl for 3 seconds
-2: Move your curler up a bit and curl again for 3 seconds
-3: Again move the curler near the tips of your lashes for another 3 seconds
-This helps your lashes stay in place and curling your lashes make them look longer

8. Apply your mascara and your done! :)
-I recommend Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara in Very Black (gives your volume and length)
-Apply a thin coat of mascara on TOP of lashes
-Apply a coat of mascara starting at the base of your lashes and wiggle the wand up to the tips
-Apply another coat and your done
-If you'd like apply 1 coat of mascara to your lower lashes

My Top 5 Perfumes

Hello lovelies! Today I thought I'd share my 5 favorite perfumes that I own. I say that I own because I have other favorites that I haven't bought recently. Anyways, I hope you ladies enjoy this post! Leave me a comment below telling me what YOUR favorite perfume is!! :)

1. Mark: Celebrate - $26

- A sparkling blend of citrus petals, mirabelle plum and osmanthus flower is the perfect cocktail for any occasion
-Oh, how I love this perfume! This is my go to perfume. Its perfect for anything! For daytime, for a date, for a girls night! Its flirty and smells soo amazing, I receive many compliments when I wear this one.

2.. Coach: Signature - $75

- Pretty, chic and playful: a blend of soft, fresh fruits and florals with a heart of fragrant yellow blossoms and warm hints of amber and cedar wood.
-This one gives you a sophisticated scent which is perfect for going out on a date or a formal event!

3.. Tattooed by Inky: Paradise Girl - $5

-This one a knock off of Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier; No decription sorry :/
-Like celebrate this is also my go to perfume! I wear this one almost everyday. It so girly and perfect for daytime, shopping, or going out to lunch

4. Fergie: Outspoken - $30

-An outrageously bold expression of iced berry shockingly contrasted with ultra-feminine tuberose absolute and racy black leather
-I feel like this perfume is very mature. Its sexy and feminine , perfect for a night with the hubby or a fancy date!

5. Armand Basi: Lovely Blossom - $25- $50 (Depends where you buy it)

-The scent possesses a blend of apricot and orange blossom, jasmine, plum, heliotrope and woods.
-I have a love/hate relationship with this pefume. As much as I love it, it can be overpowering sometimes. Like the Coach perfume this one is perfect for formal events.

*I hope this helped you all! I would love to know what perfume you like!
*Other perfumes I recommend but don't own:

-Viva La Juicy- Juicy Couture
-Sunset Hear- Escada

How to: Transform an old mirror

Hey everyone! Today I want to share how to take an old dusty mirror and make it look newer and modern for under $10! Enjoy!

1. So first off find in old mirror laying around your house
2. Clean the mirror well (this will help the spray paint stay on better)
3.Tape and cover the whole mirror with painters tape and newspaper/white paper

*My mom gave me this one and it was just sitting in my closet and I decided to make it more attractive rather than buying a new mirror

5. Choose any color spray paint you would like and spray 1 coat
6. Let the first coat dry  and spray 1 more coat
7. When your mirror is completely dry, remove the tape and paper

*I used Rust-Oleum Multicolor Textured Spray in the color Aged Iron
*I chose it because the spray paint is textured and gave it a really nice effect
*These cost around $5 at Wal- Mart

8. Hang on a wall, if you'd like put some mirror stickers around your mirror like I have done in the picture above

*I got those stickers at Garden Ridge for $10

Mary Kay: Satin Hands Review

Hello everyone! For today, I'll be reviewing a hand set from Mary Kay. I bought it a couple months ago and I've really been loving it! It leaves your hands sooooo soft and satin like. Enjoy!

*If you wish to purchase it, you can go to the Mary Kay site here: Peach Satin Hands Pampering Set
*The entire set retails for $34
*There is also a fragrance free set if you don't like the scent of peach!

Entire Set:

First Step:

Fragrance Free Hand Softener:

-Helps maintain skin's natural moisture
-Preps hands/skin before washing
-To me it's a bit oily, but it's ok because you are going to wash your hands after the next step
-All you do is rub a tiny bit all over your hands like a lotion

Next step:

Peach Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub

-Cleanses & Exfoliates
-Tiny beads help exfoliate and remove dead skin
-I love everything about this scrub: it smells incredible and I really feel it working
-Add a small amount and massage into hands for about a minute and rinse

Final Step:

Peach Satin Hand Crem

-Provides instant moisturization that lasts up to 24 hours. It lasts even through
  several hand washings.
-The consistency is thin and not oily. It instantly absorbs into my hands
-A small amount goes a long way and really moisturizes my hands

Overall I love this set! I've tried other hand scrubs and lotions and this one if the best!

Mommy Time: 15 Things to Carry in Your Purse

Hello everyone! Today's blog is dedicated to all those beautiful moms out there! I am not a mom but I have a 5 yr old sister and a 2 yr old sister. I am always with them and my mom, and when we go out there are some things that are necessary to carry in you purse/ diaper bag! Let's get started! Enjoy!

First of all, some diaper bags can be boring so this is the bag that my mom carries around with her:

It's a Coach purse from the Poppy Collection (This one is from 2 yrs ago) :

Now onto the products:

*Most of these products are available in travel sizes so they don't take up too much space. You can find them usually in the small isle when you check out of a drugstrore!

1. Whistle- This one is optional. However if your child tends to wonder off a lot when you are out, this might come in handy sometime. There are a lot of creepers out there!

2. Kleenex- Whatever season you are in, you or your child might catch a cold or allergies might start acting up!

3. Band Aids- You never know when your child might slip and fall and get a boo boo.

4.Quarters- My mom and I always carry around a few quarters for my sisters, whether its at the mall or at the store they always want something from quarter machines or a vending machine.

5. Wet Ones Moist Wipes- This one is self explanatory, children always make a mess and these are perfect for cleaning their face or a table!

6. Hand Sanitzer- There are a lot of bacteria everywhere and you won't want your child to catch a virus/ cold.

7.Water- I always carry some type of beverage when I'm with my sisters. Kids need to be hydrated!

8. Mirror: Hey, a mommy has always got to look good :)

9. Small Writing Pad & Pen- You never know when you might run into an old friend or need to write down a business number. Also, its a good thing to carry around if your children get bored while you're running errands, kids always like to doodle.

10. Lipgloss/Chapstick- Even if you don't wear makeup, its nice to have some chapstick or even some lipgloss!

11. Sunscreen- Even on a cloudy day, you and your children are still getting damaging sun rays.

12. Snacks- Children are always hungry, and it comes in handy to carry around some pretzels or crackers.

13.Advil/Tylenol- Grab a small plastic bag, and carry around some advil or tylenol. My mom is always getting a headache, and this always helps.

14. Tampons/ Pads- You never know when you might get your period. Or a friend might get it and you can give her one of yours.

15. Diaper/ Baby Wipes- These are for the mommas out there who have small children who wear diapers.

*I hoped this helped! Don't forget to grab your wallet, keys, and drivers license!

*If you have another suggestion, feel free to leave a comment!
